Selections from season 2 of Aziz Ansari’s critically acclaimed Netflix series Master of None. Compiled by music supervisor Zach Cowie, the music featured on this double LP set stays close to the second season’s focus on Italy. While the show features music from major acts like David Bowie and D’Angelo, we get a little of the more obscure pieces with this release. Sought after italo joints from the likes of Pino D’Angiò and Rainbow Team are placed alongside the 1960s Italian pop of Mina and Burundian music from Canco Hamisi. Twelve tracks in all. Released by Mondo on 180 gram double vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with an obi strip, printed insert and fold out Death Castle poster.
