If you couldn’t already tell from the names on the piece, this is a BIG 12″! “Call Me” finds Mark E delving into deep original acid with an ethereal touch – insistent kicks, a bubbling bassline, and souring strings all in the mix. Add to that some soft spoken vocals courtesy of Diana Ross and you got a surefire winner on your decks. For the remix, Tensnake ups the tempo with shuffling garage drums and sub low bass, all the while keeping the blissful vibe intact for a totally fresh angle on the track. Innervision’s Dixon also comes through with a masterful edit that will surely appease the deep house heads. Recommended.
