Madvillain: Four Tet Remixes Vinyl 12″
In our recollection of vinyl history, Stones Throw was one of the first indies to consistently put out limited distribution, side-hustle releases. It wasn’t about colored vinyl back then, more like weird EPs and fan club 45s. Egon or Jamie Strong would send us a personal email about having these titles… no one-sheet, just: “got this record, how many you want?” The Madvillain Remixes originally came in two configurations; this one by Four Tet and the other by Canadian downtempo warrior of the past Koushik. Over the years, the Four Tet one has become quite in demand (perhaps due to him being meme’d?), and this new pressing comes in a clever Jank’d pixelated artwork sleeve. Instrumental versions on the flip.
