Liquid Liquid: Rubbermiro / Lock Groove (In) 12″

Everyone knows “Optimo” and “Cavern” from Liquid Liquid so it’s cool to finally get in some of their other (equally awesome) material on 12″. This record takes tracks from two separate Liquid Liquid releases and puts ’em back to back; “Rubbermiro” from their self-titled 1981 EP on 99 Records and “Lock Groove (In)” from Sucessive Reflexes (also from ’81). Both tracks are highly percussive dancefloor workouts with an avant-garde punk funk edge. Recommended.
