There’s something special about this Italo disco oddity. Originally released in 1984 by Jumbo Records, “Sexy Films” is filled with big synth lines and quirky vocals. It’s one of those must have Italo records, hard to find and filled with just the right amount of personality. The nice and funky bass line, electronic drums, shimmering synths and slightly imperfect vocals combine to make something that stands out from a lot of the Italo out there. Oh, and don’t forget about that laugh either. Perfect record for the after-party. Repress limited to 300 copies.
