Kiefer’s Superbloom expands his earlier 2019 record, Bridges, as the LA pianist & producer steps into a “brighter, more imaginative, and vibrant” musical space. He’s produced for Anderson .Paak’s albums, Ventura and Oxnard, and he crafts virtuosic-yet-straightforward beats on the jazz-infused 7-tracker. Check out the gorgeous extended piano solo on “Be Encouraged…” and “”And Encourage Others,” or some invigorating chord progressions on “10,000 Days” and “Frozen,” on which Kiefer peppers in analogue synth work.
