The Poets of Rhythm and the Whitefield Brothers offshoot turns in a potent strain of afro-fusion that deftly mixes music styles from Eastern and Northern Africa alongside Western psychedelia, jazz and funk. This is some real deal goodness that puts Krautrock, Afrobeat, pan cultural psychedelia and deep funk in to the same pot and comes out with the best gumbo you’ve ever heard. Twenty-seven tracks in all. Released by Now-Again Records on four LPs housed in a limited edition hand silk-screened chipboard sleeve with art work by Jason Jagel.
