Carpenter is often considered one of the greatest film makers in the history of modern cinema combining his unique vision with self-composed and performed minimal synth-driven scores. Anthology: Movie Themes 1974-1998 collects several of these classic themes in newly recorded form, with the same collaborators that Carpenter worked with on his hit Lost Themes studio albums and his hit 2016 international live tour (his son Cody Carpenter, and godson Daniel Davies). This limited edition colored vinyl pressing from Sacred Bones includes 13 tracks from classic Carpenter films and a bonus 7″ exclusive to this release.
