Joao Donato & Seu Trio: Muito a Vontade Vinyl LP

Early 1960s studio album from Brazil’s João Donato & Seu Trio. Muito a Vontade was originally recorded in 1962 and features a collection of relaxing bossa nova infused jazz tunes. Donato got his start as an accordionist, but quickly moved to the piano. He worked with Antonio Carlos Jobim early on and would provide some inspiration for João Gilberto’s guitar playing. After touring around the world and absorbing a heavy does of jazz he would return to Brazil to record this now classic release. Twelve tracks in all. Released by Go! Bop! on black vinyl housed in gatefold sleeve.
