What do you do when you’ve got club night with one of the UK’s most celebrated artists and have managed one of dance music’s most forward thinking labels? Start your own label, of course! Former R&S Records manager Dan Foat is kicking things off big for his 1-800-Dinosaur label. He’s tapped James Blake, who he runs the 1-800-Dinosaur club night with, for the labels first offering. The successful club night has adopted an anything goes policy and the label seems to be following suit. Blake’s two tracker sees him drop a dub version of of “Voyeur” from his Overgrown album, along with the brand new production “And Holy Ghost.” Where “Voyeur” is ripe for the club, “And Holy Ghost” takes a dip in a completely different pool. Limited edition white vinyl pressing.
