Debut studio album from Sweden’s HNNY. Having released a bevy of 12″ singles for labels like Puss, Local Talk, Let’s Play House and YUMMY, Sunday finds the producer stretching out a bit. The album is an eclectic mix of sample based downtempo and luscious deep house. If you’re more inclined to kick back, checkout the dusty vibes of “Here We Go!” and “You Feeling Alright.” The tempo picks up “There Is No One Else” and album closer “My Baby.” Tracks like “Sylvia” and “Memory Tape Two” will be sure to please the Boards Of Canada fans out there. Ten tracks in all. Released by Omena on black vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve.
