It was put out by Warner Brothers Records, who saw the opportunity to capitalize on the bands enormous back catalog after the Dead had started their own self-titled record label. Featuring 11 tracks in all, including 9 studio songs and 2 live renditions. Limited to 6,000 copies pressed on white vinyl, released by Rhino Records as part of their “Start Your Ear Off Right” series.
