One of the most sought after releases from Chicago’s Gemini! Spencer Kincy (aka Gemini) released this untitled EP on Cajual twenty years ago. Chiwax has rearranged the track listing a bit, but the music is just as good today as it was back then! Kincy was one of the most prolific and innovative producers to come out of Chicago in the 1990s and he still continues to inspire DJs and producers. The cuts on Gemini Traxx Part One range from the rough deep house of “If You Got To Believe In Something” to the percussive workout of “Joker” and the laser like chord stabs of “Don’t U Know.” Classic tracks well worth adding to your collection. Recommended.
