Mr. K strikes again!!! Danny Krivit is like a bloodhound when it comes to master reels and he’s unveiled another major discovery. He gives up all the goods on Foster Sylver’s kiddie-gangster-UBB-funk classic “Misdemeanor.” First he drops the original 1973 mix, followed by the truly wicked instrumental version, the incredibly useful acapella dub, and lastly a brand new Dr. K re-edit. For this edit, Krivit takes full advantage of the acapella, teasing us with a couple bars of Foster’s sweet voice, and then unleashing those crisp drums… then the bass… wait a second… then those signature bells (or whatever that sound is). Also I never noticed how cool the guitar was in the original. Highly recommended.
