Description
Field Music: Tones Of Town (180g, Colored Vinyl) Vinyl LP (Record Store Day)
Tones Of Town is the second studio album from Sunderland, England’s Field Music. Formed by brothers David Brewis and Peter Brewis, the line-up sometimes includes members of Maximo Park and the Futureheads, and Tones.. is the 2007 follow-up to the group’s 2004 self-titled debut. Clever, colorful Brit-pop-meets-soft-rock is what the band excels in, with well-written hooks and smart time signature changes adding accessible complexity to its sophisticated, progressive sound. Check out “In Context,” “She Can Do What She Wants,” “Give It, Lose It, Take It,” “A house is Not a home,” and “Working To Work.” This is the first time in 10 years the album is available on wax, limited-edition 180g yellow vinyl pressing.
