DJ Snatch: Edits (Etta James, Louis Armstrong) Vinyl 12″

Greek DJ and radio producer DJ Snatch returns! We first found out about Snatch with the release of his mashup of Pharrell’s “Happy” and live funk band Speedometer. Those flew off the shelves with the quickness. The first release on his eponymous label finds the DJ taking liberties with a wide variety of material. No real mashups here just straight up edits and remixes to tune this older material up for today’s dancefloor. Elvis and Paul Anka get properly Bossa’d up complete with beefy kicks and proper intros. Jazz greats Louis Armstrong and Etta James get turnt while Howlin’ Wolf’s “Spoonful” is sent through a time-machine. Snatch throws in two original productions as well. Edits as only the Greeks can do ’em.
