Dio’s debut, now on colored vinyl! Following his first go as vocalist for Black Sabbath on Heaven And Hell, Ronnie James Dio formed his own band, fittingly named Dio. The band’s roster would consist of his former Sabbath bandmate Vinny Appice on drums, alongside Rainbow Jimmy Bain on bass, and Vivian Campbell on guitar. Together the group would release a classic staple in the metal genre with 1983’s Holy Diver. Includes the classic title track, plus “Rainbow In The Dark,” “Don’t Talk To Strangers,” and more. This 2018 pressing comes on red colored vinyl with fully remastered sound as part of the Start Your Ear Off Right reissue series. Edition of 3,500.
