Dil Withers bringing some Pacific Northwest haze to the loopy beat game. The Seattle based producer transposes the regions cloudy days into hazy, jazz heavy beats and breaks. If you like a little crispy static with your kicks and your upright basses chopped and looped then give Dil a spin. The guest spots add a little something extra to the already flavorful affair. Melanie Charles’ vocals on “Não” help to fill out the tracks Bossa vibes, while Porter Ray brings some Golden Era lyricism to “Drowning.” One for the heads.
