Third studio album from San Diego’s Delta Spirit. This eponymous album was recorded during the summer of 2011 in Woodstock, NY with producer Chris Coady. The blends alt country and indie rock with ease, crafting an album full of accessible material. It’s instantly likable, giving the listener a sense of intimacy while maintaining a slightly hardened edge. Checkout the driving beats of “California” and the more subdued vibes of album closer “Yamaha.” Eleven tracks in all. Released by Dualtone Music on limited edition orange vinyl housed in a gatefold sleeve with a digital download.
