David Bowie: Sound And Vision 40th Anniversary (Pic Disc) Vinyl 7″
40th anniversary pic disc pressing of “Sound And Vision.” The track was the first single from Bowie’s 1977 Visconti-produced classic Low, featuring an infectious guitar melody (easily the catchiest from the album) that was originally intended to be completely instrumental. Of course, the Thin White Duke couldn’t resist and added his signature vocals once everyone left the studio – and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Pressed up here with remastered sound on a beautiful pic disc featuring a photo of David similar to the Low cover art, backed with the stripped down 2013 version as remixed by Sonjay Prabhakar on the B-side. Recommended.
