Danny Brown’s 2nd full length for Fool’s Gold. The rowdy, nasally voiced Detroit rapper takes his second full length to new levels. Taking a step back from his more adventurous ‘XXX’ album, he brought it back to the hood hence the title “Old”, referring to his old hood. Featuring production from A-Trak, BadBadNotGood, Darq E Freaker, Frank Dukes, Oh No, Paul White, and Rustie the album treads both new AND old styles from boom bapish head nods to modern, dark trap styles. Amongst all the producers the album has a who’s who of guest emcees from Black Hippy crew Schoolboy Q and Ab-Soul, A$Ap Rocky, and Purity Ring. Pressed on 2LP with gatefold jacket.
