Originally released in 2002, Invention pairs 21st century beats with lush string arrangements, introducing Daedelus’ signature sound to the world. The obvious highlight here is “Experience,” a track that would be sampled by Madlib for the Madvillain hit “Accordian.” The original album is expanded with the addition of tracks from The Quiet Party EP featuring remixes from Yesterday’s New Quintet, High Priest, and more. Comes pressed on blue colored vinyl for RSD BLK FRI 2017. Edition of 1,000.
