Cybotron: Clear / Techno City (Clear Vinyl) 12″

Proper 12″ repress for Cybotron’s most influential track on beautiful clear vinyl. Originally released in 1983, Juan Atkins, Richard “3070” Davis, and John “Jon 5” Housley’s “Clear” left a serious impact on music, and the game hasn’t been the same since. Often sampled (Missy, T.I., etc) but never duplicated, this groundbreaking fusion of Midwest funk and futuristic synth pop (a la Kraftwerk and YMO) was a sonic revelation that has stood the test of time. Here, Decision Records presents “Clear” in it’s original 12″ configuration featuring the original, an alternate remix from Jose “The Animal” Diaz, and vocal/instrumental mixes of the B-side, “Techno City”. Recommended.
