Obscure electro disco cover version of William DeVaughn’s soul classic “Be Thankful.” Everyone knows the DeVaughn version (you know – “diamond in the back, sunroof top, diggin the scene with a gangsta lean”), but you probably never heard it like this with cascading arpeggios and tough drum machine rhythms! Originally released in 1983, Craig Peyton’s version is a rare catch in the field so get with this nicely priced reissue with faithful label reproductions and flipped PRO (err.. “PEY”) company sleeve. Also includes the intrumental mix if the vocals aren’t doing it for you.
