Another dose of retro-futurist synth beats from Seth Haley aka Com Truise. If Galactic Melt was the soundtrack to an imaginary sci-fi flick, this is the long-overdue blockbuster sequel. Like his previous effort, Wave 1 brings vintage synths and drum machines to life with a nostalgic, but refreshingly modern take on IDM beats. This one seems a bit more refined than the last transmission, with intricate drum programming (“Mind”), a proper 80’s style synth-pop vocal track (“Declination with Joel Ford), and even a chilled balearic closer (“Wave 1”). Perfect for coastal drives, headphone astral traveling, or just zoning to the grooves. Pic sleeve.
