Description
Butthole Surfers: Brown Reason To Live (Green Colored Vinyl) Vinyl 12″
Debut EP from San Antonio’s Butthole Surfers. Brown Reason To Live (aka Pee Pee the Sailor & Butthole Surfers) was originally recorded between 1982 and 1983, and was one of Kurt Cobain’s top fifty albums of all time. The album is filled with jabs at the then burgeoning hardcore scene, including what is most likely a Black Flag and Henry Rollins parody. There are a few songs that indicate the more psychedelic direction that the band would end up heading in. Includes the songs: “The Shah Sleeps in Lee Harvey’s Grave,” “Suicide,” “Hey,” and “Bar-B-Q Pope.” Seven tracks in all. Released by Alternative Tentacles on limited edition green vinyl.
