Burial tosses one up for the selectors after eschewing beats entirely on his last 10-inch single released just 4 months ago. On what is perhaps his most straightforward 4×4 tune to date, a simple bassline and minimal house beat ride for the duration, peppered with hallmarks of the Burial sound: warped female vocals, lush pads, urban atmosphere, crackle. Even a short saxophone riff gets sliced up & tossed into the mix. Hyperdub boss Kode9‘s remix reconfigures the tune into a banging slab of disorienting footwork that has become his go-to since the Nothing LP a few years back.
