Description
Brian Eno: Lux Vinyl 2LP
A return to form for the godfather of ambient, Brian Eno. Whereas 2005’s Another Day On Earth found Eno experimenting with song-based synth jams, Lux breaks his music down to its purest form. No drums or percussion, or even rhythmic synth stuff here – just four tracks of pure ambience. It is easy to draw comparisons to Music For Airports or Plateau Of Mirror while listening to these beautiful soundscapes, but these are completely new pieces evolved from a work currently housed at the Great Gallery of the Palace of Venaria in Turin, Italy. Each track takes up a whole side, roughly 20 minutes each of sonic bliss. Recommended.
