Breakbot’s debut for Ed Banger. Upon it’s original release in 2010, Breakbot was the solo alias of Thibaut Berland doning the funky retro disco boogie thing. Eventually Breakbot would become a duo with vocalist and frequent collaborator Irfane, who is featured here on their first single “Baby I’m Yours.” The two are a match made in disco heaven – with Breakbot laying down the sweet melodies and Irfane lacing it up with feel-good falsetto vocals. Undeniable grooves right here. This 12″ comes with a couple top grade remixes via Siriusmo and La Funk Mob, plus the understated vocoder jam “Make You Mine.” Recommended.
