Disco secret weapon revealed! Apparently this record has been a staple in DJ Harvey sets for years now, but has been incredibly hard to find due to a tiny private pressing on Morrhtyhm back in 1980. Thankfully, UK’s Trunk Records has done a faithful repress (pic sleeve and all) so all the disco nerdus can get the goods at the nice price. The jam here is the title cut “It’s Broken,” that rocks hard on the quirky disco rock tip. Definitely a rare specimen of disco! Other tracks worth investigating: the slow motion cosmic groove of “Jungle Talk” and the uber-creepy, but hilarious “Van Man.” Don’t miss it!
