Portrait In Jazz was recorded at Reeves Sound Studio NYC on December 28, 1959 and captured the Bill Evans Trio (lead by the legendary jazz pianist along with bassist Scott LaFaro and drummer Paul Motian) in a rousing session that covers many brilliant interpretations of standards. Includes “Autumn Leaves,” “Come Rain Or Shine,” “Blue In Green,” and others. This heavyweight 180g reissue is part of the Leloir Collection, a limited retrospective series of some of the best jazz albums of all time with new artwork incorporating Jean-Pierre Leloir‘s iconic photography.
