Fourth studio album from Santa Fe’s Beirut. No, No, No was recorded in 2015 following something of a musical crisis for the band’s founder, Zach Condon. He’d gone through divorce and been hospitalized for exhaustion from extensive touring, but found redemption in new romance. The music is fun and light, some of the most accessible pop songs that Beirut has put out. Condon has stripped back the band’s sound and the songs are brief, but No, No, No proves to be a satisfying listen from end to end. Includes the songs: “Gilbraltar,” “No No No,” “Perth,” and “Pacheco.” Nine tracks in all. Released by 4AD on blue vinyl with a download code.
