Art Fine: Dark Silence Vinyl 12″
More italo heat by way of the Dark Entries repess series! This time it’s Art Fine’s sought-after debut 12″ (and sole release for that matter) that gets a proper remastered reissue. The Italian duo of Fabrice Bellini and Rush Blakemann met in art school back in the early 80’s and recorded their only single “Dark Silence” in 1984 using SCI Drumtraks, Summons SDSV drum machines along with some Yamaha keys and electric guitar. The resulting track is pure italo magic on wax, telling the tale of a mysterious, unattainable girl named “Dark Silence”. Comes in the original configuration with long version and Art Fine remix (my pick) on the flip. Comes in original pic sleeve with postcard insert featuring lyrics and liner notes by Fabrice Bellini.
