Air: 10,000 Hz Legend (180g) Vinyl 2LP

Double 180 gram pressing. Air’s third full length from 2001. 10,000 Hz Legend followed up the now classic Virgin Suicides Soundtrack (released the year prior) and found the French duo of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel expanding with synth experimentation inspired by 70’s pioneers like Jean Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream and Vangelis. This added to their mellowed-out psychedelic pop vibe resulted in a noticable evolution in their sound. 11 tracks with guest appearances from Beck and suGar Yoshinaga of Buffalo Daughter.
