Callin’ out all area crew! Lyrics Born’s debut solo effort gets a deluxe 15th anniversary repress for RSD 2018. The Latyrx co-founder made a name for himself alongside Lateef The Truth Speaker, DJ Shadow, and the rest of the Solesides / Quannum posse in the mid/late 90’s, but 2003’s Later That Day gave us a full length dose of his inimitable rap style. The Tokyo-born, Bay Area (Berkeley) raised MC stays extra funky, flipping charismatic raps with ease over several self-produced beats, plus a couple joints by Cut Chemist and Poets Of Rhythm. This special edition reissue comes on double clear green vinyl, complete with 11 x17″ poster, and in-depth liner notes by Jeff Chang. Edition of 1,250.
