Description
Electric Street Orchestra: The Native (Wajeed / Jeedo) 12″
Electric Street Orchestra what you know? It’s about time you get familiar if you haven’t already. Records like this only come around once every few supermoons. So I guess we’re all in luck that one just happened to pop by. Jeedo’s (aka Wajeed) pedigree ain’t nothing to mess with so rest assured that he’s gonna be bringing the realness when it comes to putting it down on wax. This second 12″ from his Electric Street Orchestra and second for his label, continues with the all-star cast of Detroit producers who’ve been in the game since before you knew what real house music was. The A side sees Jeedo team up with Mad Mike Banks for two kinetic tracks of pure originality. Both “The Native” and “Serpents” carry a punishing percussive attack that’s buoyed by deftly deployed synth stabs and drones. The salve comes on the flip with “Reconstruct,” more ambient in tone, but just as destructive. Let your ears tell you what you need to know and cop this!
