Big balearic vibes from DJ Harvey on single sided, laser-etched vinyl! Harvey has a cult following for a reason – his DJ sets are the stuff of legend (if you’ve been to Sarcastic Disco you know what I’m talking about), and his edit and remix work is impeccable. Here he takes Dr. Beat from San Sebastian’s classic early 2000’s balearic tune “Mediterraneo” and gives it a 2013 revamp, totally pumping up the drums and adding propulsive synth stabs to keep it moving. He manages to do all this while keeping the signature Spanish guitar work in the mix, keeping that breezy balearic feeling intact. Perfect for beachside parties, rooftops, and sunrise/sunset jams. Limited import pressing.
