Downtown Sounds returns with volume 2 of their classics series. The long running Dublin based night has reached deep into the crates for these two big tunes. The Pablo And Shoey Rejig of Dinosaur’s “Kiss Me Again” mines the breaks from three different mixes of the track to bring out the Northern Soul vibes that are buried deep in the grooves. Nicky Siano, one of the original artists on the track, even contributed a few edits himself! On the flip Downtown Sounds takes us back with a huge afro-psych cut from Ashley Beedle’s Black Science Orchestra project. “Headspace Lullaby (Part 2)” keeps the fire burning early into the morning with its live energy and heavy breakdown.
